The Hoffman Super Safety is designed to be 3D printed at home, just like our other designs. We don’t make or sell the Super Safety ourselves, so it’s a great opportunity for you to explore 3D printing.
The Super Safety is a 3D-printable active trigger system for the AR-15. An active trigger resets itself, making follow-up shots faster and more efficient.
It features a push-button safety that replaces the standard safety on an AR-15. Both two-position and three-position versions are included.
The Super Safety works with any AR-15 that has a mil-spec fire control group and bolt carrier. However, you’ll need to modify the trigger and detent for it to fit.
If you prefer using other manufacturing methods, like machining or metal printing, we’ve released a dev pack with all the STEP files for the Super Safety, triggers, and detent.
For those who want to customize the design, SolidWorks files are also included.
